New beginnings.
We have decided to take the love that we have for dogs, and share it with the ones who have been less fortunate than our own. We have opened up our home as a foster home for a local, shelter-less rescue group. A dog might be with us for days, weeks, or months. We will provide him with a safe home, and everything he needs, (especially love), until he is adopted into a permanent home. Once that dog has found his forever family, we will be able to take in the next one. I have fostered orphaned newborn pups several times before, but the adults will be a different experience I'm sure(after weeks of overnight feedings, and poop poop poop, I'm always ready for a break when the puppies are finally weaned!). Yes we will get attached, and yes it will be hard when they move on, but we are going in with the goal of helping to save as many dogs as we can. Every time one gets adopted, another can be pulled from a kill-shelter, or taken off the streets. If we are able to keep that attitude, letting go will be easier.
